McBurney Transport one of Irelands largest independantly run logistics operations has recently begun using eDoc Deposit Limited to deliver payslip and other payroll related documentation to their 600 strong workforce who are employed in their many depots. The service turns printed payslips into epayslips ( electronic payslips ). Payroll manager Yvonne Griffin is delighted with the service and states that she is saving at least 4.5 hours per week in handling and distributing the epayslips ( electronic payslips ) and that's on top of savings in paper consumption and ink for inkjet printers. A significant percentage of payslips had previously been posted to employees homes, with the conversion to epayslips ( electronic payslips ), the savings in postage cost is perhaps the most significant saving. The McBurney Transport group began in 1965 with the formation of McBurney Transport in Ballymena by Norman McBurney. Over the past 40 years, the company has grown substantially to become one of Ireland's largest independently run logistics operations. They offer a wide and varying range of transportation and warehousing services 'tailored' to meet each of their customer's needs throughout Northern Ireland, UK, Republic of Ireland & Europe. They have a diverse customer base of over 200 companies throughout the entire range of industry sectors. Many of their customers are blue-chip companies within the marketplace.
